Firelands Coastal Tributaries Watershed Program volunteers test water quality in Pipe Creek.
Field of Interest Funds support a general interest or a specific geographic area in Erie County. The Community Foundation's Distribution Committee accepts requests and recommends projects for funding twice per year, in conjunction with the grant cycle for the Community Grants program. To apply for funding from a Field of Interest Fund, please complete the Community Grants application.The Foundation does not make grants to individuals; distributions from the Field of Interest Funds are made to non-profit organizations only.

The Lake Erie Environmental Education Fund
$1,500 Fourth and final payment to Firelands Coastal Tributaries Watershed Program for matching funds to support the Pipe Creek Watershed coordinator program

The Buckeye Cablevision Fund
$1,025 North Point Educational Services Center for a wheelchair accessible swing

The Children's Health Fund
$1,334 Bayshore Counseling, for a behavioral health youth program
