Funding from the Community Foundation was used as a local match to secure a 4-year state grant for a watershed education coordinator.
Field of Interest Funds support a general interest or a specific geographic area
in Erie County. The Community Foundation's Distribution Committee accepts requests
and recommends projects for funding twice per year, in conjunction with the grant
cycle for the Community Grants program. To apply for funding from a Field of
Interest Fund, please complete the Community Grants application.The Foundation
does not make grants to individuals; distributions from the Field of Interest
Funds are made to non-profit organizations only.
