For Donors » Overview

The Sandusky/Erie County Community Foundation has grown from endowment assets of $1.8 million in 1995 to current assets of more than $13 million. This tremendous growth is the result of the support and encouragement of many donors, including private foundations, individuals, corporations and nonprofit organizations. Since 1995, the Community Foundation has awarded more than $4 million in community grants and scholarships for the benefit the residents of Erie County.

Donors to the Sandusky/Erie County Community Foundation all have something in common.  They have ideas and dreams for Erie County and they use the Foundation to help make those dreams a reality.  Some donors create scholarships for Erie County students.  Some donors address changing needs in our community with a donor-advised fund named for their family.  Still  other donors choose to give to an agency’s existing endowment fund, ensuring their good works continue for generations to come.  If you have ideas and dreams for Erie County we would love to help you make them happen.
